The room looked trashed like a party had been there the night before. The 2 lampshades were stained and broken, upholstered chair was stained, the bathroom sink was badly cracked. The bathroom also had poor lighting, maybe some bulbs missing?? Plus side: the beds were comfortable and there were enough outlets for charging electronics Cindy S.

Great family hotel with pool and breakfast

Staff was super friendly and helpful and any little issues were fixed very quickly. Location was perfect for visiting Humboldt redwoods and pretty river walk right next to the hotel. Kids loved indoor pool and hot tub as well as breakfast. Room was also bigger than expected- overall a great value for a family trip!

The hotel is clean and the staff were great. Rooms were large and very comfortable. The are not a lot of healthy dining options nearby so bringing our own food would have been a good idea.

Basic hotel, nothing really noteworthy

The hotel was pretty basic, the pool and hot tub were small and gave a back rooms vibe. Service could be better. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and comfortable. No where too great to eat nearby, it’s a very small town. Peppers was pretty good and quick.

Hidden gem in Fortuna

Family trip. They were super nice. Offered coloring stuff to keep kids busy. Also gave us some milk to help kids sleep. Such a nice staff. Even made up the room after night one on a two night stay. Who does that anymore? Great place to stay.

The facility is a bit dated and our room needed updating (worn furniture and bed). The room had a funky smell made worse when we turned on the air conditioner so maybe a filter change needed. The included breakfast, breakfast staff, and front-desk staff were very good

The hotel was very clean and the people were nice. The area wasn’t the best but my husband and I were only there for one night. The refrigerator wasn’t that cold (our ice packs melted and drinks were room temp) but maybe that was a fluke. We stayed inside for the most part and enjoyed the breakfast they provide in the morning. If you’re there here for a quick trip then this hotel is a great choice.
