We had a wonderful two-night stay at the Gosby House Inn and left feeling refreshed and cared for. The historic Victorian charm of the building is immediately inviting, and while the architecture and décor reflect the inn’s rich history, inside did not feel outdated or worn. It’s a great balance of old-world character and modern comfort.
From the moment we arrived, Vera at check-in made us feel truly welcome. She was warm, kind, and helpful—a perfect introduction to what turned out to be a consistently friendly and attentive staff. Everyone we encountered during our stay seemed genuinely happy to be there and happy to help.
We stayed in Room 15, the Jewel Room. Before booking, we saw some reviews mentioning potential noise due to its proximity to the kitchen, so we were prepared for that possibility. However, we found the noise level to be completely minimal—just a little normal kitchen sound during breakfast hours, which was in no way disruptive. It didn’t detract from our experience at all.
Breakfast each morning was a highlight. The menu was varied and everything we tried was delicious. It was a pleasant way to start the day. They even make eggs to order if you ask.
Parking was easy and hassle-free, which we really appreciated. The neighborhood seemed very safe and walkable too. We loved how easy it was to walk to the coastal path.
