Happy Employees Equals Happy Guests
Where to begin... Front desk agent upon arrival was attentive, friendly, and helpful, despite our later arrival (after 9:30pm). Room was clean and built with intuitive, accessible, and space-saving design. I was especially impressed by the go-green energy-saving method of lighting the room only after inserting the room key card into a slot by the door; great way to prevent loss of the room key, to boot! The room provided conveniently located USB and plug outlets, a coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator. Continental breakfast offered a charming variety of options, presented at appropriate temperatures, and was continually monitored by attentive and personable breakfast assistants who even engaged my eight-year-old son in a pleasant exchange of words. The lady at the front desk at check-out was smiling, pleasant, and personable, and also spoke with my son - what wonderful encouragement for his developing social skills! I have stayed at a couple other hotels in Redlands and enjoyed the stay, but never have I experienced such wide-spread and available, as in "not forced", kindness from the employees at any hospitality establishment. My son says SpringHill Suites by Marriott is his favorite hotel in the whole world and is already trying to schedule my calendar for another stay here!
