I intended to book a hotel in Como, but upon arrival, I was informed that my reservation was actually made for a hotel in Florence—possibly due to the fact that the same hotel chain operates in both cities. Unfortunately, this mistake only became apparent when I arrived late at night, and the hotel in Como had no record of my reservation.
As a result, I was left without accommodation after midnight and had to urgently find another hotel at a much higher cost. I also lost the full amount paid for the original booking in Florence, which I could not use.
This experience was extremely distressing, especially after a long day of travel. I kindly request that you review this situation and consider offering a refund or at least partial compensation for the unused booking and the additional costs I incurred due to the confusion.
I would appreciate your prompt attention to this matter.
Regards,
Noura
