Lovely resort, poor customer service.
We stayed 5 nights at Shipyard resort which was wonderful. The checkin process and resort facilities were excellent and included bikes and a thoughtful list of provisions for the property, beach towels etc. so would recommend the property. However, they took a deposit on checkin which they said would be released at the end of our stay so not impressed when they charged me on the checkout day. Once home, I had to call them 3 times and sent 2 emails to the manager asking for a refund which were all ignored so I was very unimpressed with the customer service and lack of urgency. I ended up reporting it to my credit card company who stepped in and fínally got it refunded after 20 days! A stressful end to a lovely holiday.
