I reserved a 1-TWINBED (2 SINGLE) ROOM through HOTELS.COM, but was assigned a 1-KINGBED ROOM upon check-in. The problem was that the 1-TWINBED ROOM was sold at a higher price than the 1-KINGBED ROOM, and I bought it at a higher price so that my son and I could sleep comfortably.
When I showed them the screen dump from when I made the reservation, they said they would refund $30 per day, a total of $150, upon check-out. I agreed, and after staying for 5 nights, I was told that the refund would be processed in 7-10 days. However, the refund has not been processed. I think that HOLIDAY INN EXP hotels cannot be trusted in this process.
I hope that many customers will use this hotel's behavior as an example and make a wise decision.
