Perfect downtown location with incredible staff and walking distance from so many great places. Hotel was lovely and clean, and every staff member wonderful.
Things to know: Check in on the second floor. Elevators are tap a room key, a bit sensitive and sometimes had to tap multiple times.
Wish the room had more hooks in both the bathroom and room. It was such a spacious room it seems like a missed opportunity.

I booked for my parents they loved it. They havenโt been there in like 10 years and they said it was way improved and weโre happy with their rooms. They kept talking about how big the bathroom was.

The building was beautiful. Our room wasnโt vacuumed, there were tags and food on the rug under the desk. They did move us to another room and said they โupgradedโ us but that wasnโt the case, if anything the room was much smaller. The rooms were decorated beautifully and the food options were great.

The Westin.
The Westin is amazing for sure! We had some hang ups that seemed to be easy fixes but it just kept getting passed to the next person and every time I would bring the issues to someone they would say โoh thatโs unacceptable, go speak to *someone else*โ. My biggest complaint is feeling gaslit over getting the wrong room. I paid for a delux room and was given a premium, or maybe the other way around. I wanted a bathtub and the luxury of that room, which is why I chose it. I was told this room was the same but when I first called to question my fridge and a lamp not working, I was told then that I was in a less than room and we should go to the front desk. Problem is, it was 11:00pm. We were so tired and beat up from the day. It was a bad travel day. Over all, I expected so much more from Marriott and the Westin. I want to stay again but Iโm not sure I will put the money into a room again and not get what I paid for. I was told they wonโt guarantee rooms booked through third parties. I wish everyone would work together and put together a rule book so guests who work hard for their money know what theyโre up against. If I knew that, maybe I would do things differently. Also the room we were in was the loudest room I have ever been in and the temp of the water out of the faucet is only hot and enough to burn skin.

Very well appointed, but small details were lacking. Cheap toilet paper in luxury hotels is infuriating. Sink faucets had 1mm difference in position between cold and scalding.
