I recently stayed at a hotel in New York, and while there were some redeeming qualities, overall my experience was quite disappointing.
## Location
The location of the hotel was excellent. It was conveniently situated near various attractions, making it easy to explore the city.
## Cleanliness
The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus when traveling.
## Lifts
However, the issues with the lifts significantly impacted our stay. The hotel only had two lifts, and unfortunately, one was out of service for the entire stay (5 days). The second lift also stopped working on our first day, forcing us to climb 19 floors multiple times. For anyone with accessibility needs, I would strongly advise against staying here.
## Staff
The staff was decent but did not meet the standard I expected, especially compared to other hotels like Doubletree. Their service felt lackluster and unremarkable.
## Overall Impression
The only highlights of our stay were the stunning view from our room and the prime location. Unfortunately, these positives weren't enough to outweigh the inconveniences we faced. If I were to return to New York, I would not choose this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others.
