We had bedbugs on our bed, but we did not get any compensation or apologies from the hotel. The manager avoided us all along and didn’t keep her words to give us full refund. She made no effort to apologize or communicate with us.
When I first found the bedbug, I killed it on our bed sheet which left clear blood marks. While I looked for an insecticide and sprayed all around the bed, two went out of sight.
We called the front desk and the staff came to our room and checked the marks together. He told us other rooms were full and all he could do was to change the sheets. But we already saw the bugs crawling on the bed so could not sleep in it even with the new sheets.
We wanted to move to another hotel. The staff called the manager, and she promised us full refund. I wanted to make sure, so asked the staff repeatedly. He confirmed it several times and told us that the manager will call us in the morning for the process.
Yet, the manager hasn’t called in the morning or not even after two days. Everytime I called the hotel, they said I cannot talk to the manager and she’s not there. The staff said the manager couldn’t find any bedbugs, so she won’t give us full refund. She completely changed her words.
How can you say that there was no bug in the first place after I killed one and sprayed insecticide all over the bed?
The hotel does not respect the guests. Their priority is not the guests but only their money. If you wish to enjoy your trip, please do not stay here.
