0 star – Couldn’t even get into our room
I’d love to review the room, but unfortunately we never actually managed to get into it.
We arrived with two young children, but the access code didn’t work and the door simply wouldn’t open. We repeatedly called the contact number for help, but every call went straight to answerphone. There was nobody on site to help either.
The parts of the building we could access also smelled unpleasant, which wasn’t exactly reassuring.
Eventually, with two tired children and nowhere to sleep, we had no choice but to abandon the booking and find and pay for alternative accommodation at short notice.
If your entire check-in system is essentially “here’s a code, good luck,” somebody really needs to answer the phone when the code doesn’t work.
One star because zero isn’t an option. Thankfully, we found a Travelodge — I’ve never been so pleased to see one.
