Great place to stay for an early morning flight from Bristol airport. Room was good and clean although the hand rail in the bathroom was falling off the wall and the mattresses were squeaky and not very comfy. The golf resort however is nice and well kept. Overall I would definitely stay here again.

Ok but restaurant could be a bit more helpful

I rang several days before our trip to say I would arrive slightly after their 8:30pm last check-in (as we were traveling on a Friday evening from Suffolk). Was told "no problem". However was not told there would be no food available! On a Friday evening? So arrived just after 8:30pm to find the kitchen had just shut and too bad they couldn't / wouldn't help us (having just driven 4 1/2 hours). Fortunately was able to get to a local pub before their Kitchen closed at 9pm. Then arrived for breakfast at 8am only to find nobody there. The chef then came out and helped us and got us food. Front of house staff then turned up late. That said the room was fine and comfortable and clean.

Staff were very good. Accommodation was all that was required and clean, apart from the 3 spiders in the bathroom. I guess they could have come in after the room was cleaned though. Breakfast was decent value although very slow to arrive and the eggs and sausages overcooked. The bacon bap was lovely and with a drink was also great value. A small concern was that one of the single beds had not been secured so it moved on the wheels when leant against. Overall decent value for one night.

We were taking our daughter to the airport in the early morning the room had direct access to the carpark so we could take her and return to bed without disturbing other guests which made our life easier. Food was good value and seemed to be cooked from scratch also no need to book ahead. Breakfast was flexible from 8.30 to gone 11am which was handy. Thankyou. EV charging available on site at about 55p kWh for 22kw chargers so not the cheapest but ok to give your EV a top up.😁

We had a lovely stay here. Beautiful room looking out over the 18th hole. We were there for a wedding at Banwell Castle only a few miles away so an ideal location to stay. Food was lovely and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely stay again.
