First appearances are great; the outdoors are well kept and the cabins are cute. We were a group with 3 rooms and we all had issues. Two rooms had fridge leakage problems and warped floors so it's been happening a while. One person had to be moved due to a problem with the key card door entry and the new room had not been cleaned - dirty, excessive number of spiders, no a/c, etc. Because it was booked on Expedia, the Innkeeper was reluctant to give some kind of refund for all the hassle. One of the rooms was unlocked when we came back from our day out - repairman had gone in and not re-locked it. or fixed the problem. Only one room had soap and the front desk did not have any so we had go out and buy soap! I felt bad for the young lady at the desk, she tried to handle the problems kindly but there was no solution. Rest of the staff was not as friendly.
Breakfast was decent- a nice selection of yogurt, fresh fruit, premade french toast and waffles to heat up, etc. and a really good granola.
The rooms were a nice, comfortable size but the space could have been better utilized to make staying there "easier". More shelf/counter space in bathroom, a bench or rack for 2nd suitcase, etc.
So, it didn't quite match up to the reviews; thankfully it was just a short stay for us.
