Checked in; fine. Fast, nothing to it.
Get in my room, maintenance walks RIGHT in. Did not knock or say anything. No warning. Sees me, say, “cleaning. Are you checking out?” I’m like “no I just checked in”. Mind you it’s 2/3pm. You should still knock before entering! Yes, I wonder if I wasn’t in there, where would my stuff be… I guess they had “No” marked as if the previous person wasn’t there because they checked out. (Note! There’s no check out process-like most places you can stop at the desk and tell them or just leave). So why didn’t they knock to make sure, IDK! Don’t take major valuables. The room - the bedding is washed but clearly has like cigarette burns or dark marks from previous uses. If you stay at like Marriott’s, or Westins, “nice” hotels, don’t stay here. Just pay to stay downtown or somewhere else. Front desk said “I’m sorry. Let me call him.” Which is like fine…but no accommodation to the guest. (There’s no nicer Rooms but you could’ve been like- would you like us to ___?” Minimum! Layout of hotel, no privacy, like a high school hallway, you walk out your room and the person way at the end of hall gone see you. I only really need a bed because I was visiting family but this will be the last option in any city I go moving forward. Parking-I mean I’ve seen worse, but it’s dirty and sketchy. Toilet was leaking but I was like okay with it because I wasn’t there for luxury stay..desk attendants not dressed professionally, you wouldn’t know they work there fr.
