We loved bring right off the boardwalk. The restaurant changed owners and we couldn’t enter from the hotel area this year. There was mold all over our shower curtain, not the cleanest hotel but stay here for convenience and the front desk staff are excellent.

It was quite easy to satisfy me when I called a few days before to request a certain area to be put .. I asked for a room overlooking the boardwalk with a view of the water on the level of the patio … I was given a room further back on the third floor .. I was probably one of five people in that hotel and they couldn’t accommodate me they took my money and didn’t think twice. I checked in late and didn’t have the energy to tell the guy at the desk that he had one easy task and he couldn’t do it .. The lady in the morning that I told the story to refunding me a big $10.50 .. I greatly appreciate her efforts but as usual the big corporate money doesn’t care about one person .. well I still review people that screwed me and didn’t give me my money back from 15 years ago on reviews everywhere. So the incompetent person that gave me the wrong room is a whole reason for my reviews that are about to come for a very long time ..

Disgusting
Absolutely disgustingly dirty. Bed bugs, blood on curtains, pubic hair on toilet filth and dirty. Felt very unsafe the door didn't completely shut had to use the chain going across the door to keep it shut. Would never recommend this hotel. They person at the desk actually said we will give you a better room. Next room was just as bad only there was urine all over the toilet. Asked the desk person "doesn't anyone clean these rooms? ", no response. He and another guy just kept looking at the dirt and shrugged his shoulders .On to the next room not better but needed a place to sleep. Didn't even stay the next night, tried to get a refund for the for the next night and the manager wouldn't agree to it with hotels.com.

Aztec staff was very accommodating when we had to change our reservations due to a hurricane. They were very pleasant. Great location on the boardwalk. My kids loved it.

Worst room ive ever stayed in. Ive stayed at this hotel several times but apparently it has gone down hill tremendously. 2 things you need are a comfortable bed which we did not and the ability to shower and have a clean bathroom. If it wasnt for no other hotels in the area that i could find, i woild not have stayed there

This is the best place for a weekend stay at the shore. Our room was clean, and the location was perfect. The staff was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and provided a smooth experience with checking in and out. The location is perfect, and it’s awesome to step right onto the boardwalk, and even across the street to mini golf or the water park, and everywhere in between! Highly recommend, and we will absolutely be back. Thank you for a wonderful stay and weekend of memories.

Just wanted to get away to the boardwalk with my older children, just the 3 of us! Weve been here many times but it had been years. What an incredible upgrade theyve made to the rooms!! It was beautiful and modernized! Awesome shower! Always a great place to stay, cant beat right on the boardwalk, and the evening movie by the pool!

hotel location is great, you are right near the boarkwalk rides, beach, and water park. room was small with a tile floor that was sandy, the door didn't close very well (had a lot of play in it, loose).you can hear everything in the halls, poor sound proofing. parking kinda sucked, had to park across the street and halfway down the block in the hotel owned property lot. staff was very friendly. pool was large and clean with a deep end.

Gave my teenage girls an authentic, safe and super fun Jersey shore experience and the Aztec was the primary reason. Its location can’t be beat: right on the boardwalk, in the middle of the mix, let the girls have autonomy while I could safely watch over them from Aztec’s outside patio that overlooks boardwalk. Staff was very very helpful - not ingratiating but gave me for sure what I needed. Older family but that’s part of the charm Bottom line - I would definitely go here again. Worth every penny (reasonably priced but not cheap)
