Don't stay here if you don't have to
The hotel rooms are in dire need of significant updates. While the rooms are decent, they show noticeable signs of wear and tear. The restroom's shower head and shower door crevices were rusted and unclean, making it clear that the bathrooms require substantial upgrades or a total makeover. The mattress was old and emitted an unpleasant corn chip smell when used. Additionally, the furniture and carpet in the room could have benefited from a thorough shampooing.
Thank goodness I only stayed here for two nights. Next time, I’ll stay in Lafayette instead of Opelousas, as the hotels there are much better maintained compared to those in Opelousas.
