We stayed here for a family vacation and were disappointed overall. Upon arrival, we found there was no self-parking, only valet at $35/night. With just two valets working during peak check-in, the wait was frustrating. Check-in itself was quick and the front desk staff was kind.
Our room appeared clean at first, but we discovered a large sticky wet spot (later identified as coffee) in the middle of the floor. Someone came quickly but just laid towels over it. We also found someone elseโs room keys on a shelf.
The pool area was littered with trash, and a dirty bandage fell out of the bathmat when we were getting ready to shower, very unsettling. Breakfast was good the first day but had fewer options each morning after. The breakfast staff were noticeably rude when I asked if more fruit or yogurt would be available.
We saw a roach in the bathroom the first night, and another in the room on our last day. One of the two elevators broke on the second day, causing long waits. The hotel does offer a golf cart shuttle, but walking was faster.
The location is great, walking distance to the beach, restaurants, and shops, but the number of issues during our stay added up. If it had been just one or two things, we mightโve brushed it off, but taken together, the experience was disappointing.
