This was a nice solo stay at the Noble Baan. If you are looking to avoid a hostel stay, this is a budget hotel that does the job. I appreciated that it had a balcony. You will need a scooter or to take taxis if you stay here, but I personally prefer to save on lodging and have a scooter. If you are scared of renting a scooter you can use rideshare apps to hire a scooter or car with driver to take you into the city.

Great place, a bit away from the center, but for the price, itโs unbearable
Nice small hotel in Chiang Mai in peaceful area. Owner and staff are friendly. Clean rooms and great services. A very good value.

Nice and quiet, clean and friendly staff, only complaint, they need to improve the breakfasts especially the western style.

Fantastic, would go again!
The lady owner Ou was fantastic, very friendly and obliging. Went out of her way to make us feel at home and ensure we had everything we needed, was great with our kids.
The location is little bit far but is acceptable by using Grab
Good attitude among staff in hotel
I will recommend this hotel for people

Brand new, beautiful and clean hotel
We had a wonderful stay at Baan Pastel Hotel! The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The room is new, spacious, and very clean, with a cute balcony. We liked the location in a quiet neighborhood near the south part of the old city as it was nice to come home to such a peaceful neighborhood after the noise and crowd of the old city. If you're here on a Saturday night be sure to visit the Saturday Night Market which is nearby. We'll definitely stay here again the next time we're in Chiang Mai!
