Small rooms and a very small shower, everything else, is great. Had a on property laundry, a community shower for RV’S ers, shop vac, movies to share and books to read. Water hose to use, fish cleaning table and marshmallow sticks and a gas grill you can use to cook your favorite meat on. I would stay again despite the small shower.

Wonderful and original and unexpected experience at this roadside RV park with charming cabins. If you get a chance to stay here, I highly recommend. We traveled all over the state and this place was a highlight.

Pros and cons
The gentlemen checked us in when we arrived and it was quick and easy. The place was well-maintained and attractive. As another poster commented, there are no blow dryers, so, hope you have one of your own if needed. I wish they had a couple disposable cups just for water at night so we didn't have to do dishes, but that is not a big thing, just something I like at a hotel. Beds were comfy. We had cabin #4. For the life of me, I do not understand why the curtains were not the type you can close in the kitchen. So, someone could see in to the first bed, maybe. The problem was, if you wanted to sleep past first light, you couldn't if the light bothers you. I was grateful for the AC. Even more so when we shut it off prior to leaving and heard the inhabitants of the other side of the cabin conversing. So, I don't think the wall is thick enough to hide much noise without the AC going. You might get to know your neighbors well in winter. For the age of the cabin, it was in good shape and maintained well. My husband took out our trash, we left our keys in the room, and we were on our way, so, easy check out. It looked like a very nice RV park--only trick might be getting in and out with a longer rig in higher traffic times with the way the road curves, but the sites looked full. Unlike a lot of other places, this was off the road just enough I didn't notice road noise. They gather around the fire at night for s'mores and it looked really enjoyable. We were just too tired to do it.

Best family trip location! Close to the entrance to Yosemite as well as a couple of lakes and great hiking. Campfire s’mores for the kids and wine for the adults - good company all around! This is a place you’ll return to year after year!

Everything is good except the fact that you are traveling back in time, probably to the year it was established - 1953! The room is super old, the bathroom needs complete restoration… It’s very overpriced, I stayed at much better hotels for these money. Staff was nice, room is clean, territory is lovely.

This was a lovely place with nice trails to walk and close to places we wanted to visit. The only thing I think would be helpful is if they had a little more lighting in the room. I would definitely stay here again.

Great stay! Simple accommodations, but friendly and clean. I wouldn't want or expect a Hilton or Best Western in these beautiful mountains!

Good short stay.
This was a good stop over on our way to Lake Tahoe after a long day in Yosemite. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioner worked well. If you’re used to not traveling with a hair dryer or hair conditioner just note that these are not provided. Only issue was checking out as we didn’t realize the office wouldn’t be open until after we needed to leave the next morning. We left the keys in the room and left a message, so hopefully that was ok.

The hospitality is wonderful. The room may be a bit outdated but it was very clean. I personally prefer outdated feel because it gives the feel of being in a small town. The mattress was brand new. I loved the table and chairs outside. Was nice to sit on and drink coffee and have the feel of peace and quiet. The property is clean. I was there on a saturday, and they run a campfire and offer smores. So cool! Great property for kids. I really like their main lawn area. What a great place to be.

Beautiful property and amazing hospitality. The Enos family welcomes you like you were a part of theirs. Cozy, comfortable rooms, breathtaking scenery and very peaceful. The nightly campfires for all of the guests are a perfect ending to your day in the Sierras.
