Clean, no frills hunting cabin with space heater
Old school clean. I new it was going to be hell of a night once I saw a space heater in the room. No control of heat but a old fashioned a/c , unit inside. I was surprised it was too warm in the room since I had no control of the heat. Too warm for my preference. Last minute stay about it. No frills. Nice old couple running the place. Remind me of a hunting cabin.

This is a no-frills motel, that is clean, safe and the owners are incredibly kind. If you need somewhere to stay for the night, I recommend the Cortland Motel.

It was OK given our reason for staying
We had to stay away from our house for one night because it was being fumigated. This was the cheapest choice. It was OK, but the beds were pretty uncomfortable. Also, every time we heated up water, the smoke detector went off

Simple, dated rooms but more than adequate. Everything we need for simple, short stay. Everything was clean, well cared for and smelled fine. Check in was quick, easy with pleasant, friendly check in staff. Good value for the money. All the basics and located near the county seat so an interesting town (Cortland) with msny dining options.

Pleasantly surprised and pleased by this motel. Most motels make you regret not planning earlier or not paying the extra cash to stay in a hotel. Clean. Staff is nice. And its visible thatbthey care about being clean and a good presentation. Would consider staying here again. I live 3 hours away.
