Having the hotel book the vineyards and organising taxis for us was like having a private concierge service. They even organised someone extra our dollars to AR which (if you’ve visited Argentina before) is a total in the arse to sort out usually

It is not in walking distance to the town of Maipu. You need taxi or car to get to the Wineries. They don’t serve dinner at their very small restaurant until about 9 pm.

"The Villa Victoria Lodge is a beautiful, little oasis, not too far from Mendoza, Maipu and all the bodegas. The sisters who are managing the place are very helpful and friendly, the Villa has a lot of character and the garden with the pool is beautifully situated. "Highly recommend! We stayed here on our honeymoon and it was a perfect place to relax and enjoy Mendoza. We stayed in a Villa in the vineyards it was incredible waking up amongst the vines (and an amazing view of the Andes). It was quiet, clean, and the a/c worked great.
