You most definitely get what you pay for.
First of all, we paid just £45 for one night, which included parking.
Where can you stay for that amount?
The hotel wasn’t great, bed wasn’t very comfy, but again £45 a night.
There was a really strong musty, damp smell in the room. Which to be fair, we could have mentioned and given them the option to move us, but we didn’t.
I’d say if you are sensitive to smells, this one isn’t for you. Everything is really heavily fragranced (perhaps to mask the musty smell). The lobby & corridors have a very strong fragrance (air freshener - not a bad smell, just really overpowering). All provided toiletries including the hand wash are really over scented (so bring your own if you struggle with that).
Would I stay here again, probably not, but it’s cheap as chips and relatively clean. I just couldn’t cope with the overpowering smells.
