Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Bradford City Centre and had a mixed experience. The staff were helpful and quickly replaced our room after I fell due to a broken bed in the original one, which I appreciated. However, the incident was quite unpleasant and highlighted the need for better room maintenance.
The hotel itself feels quite old and tired, especially the furnishings. The beds are in serious need of upgrading — not very comfortable and, in our case, even unsafe. The building could definitely benefit from some refurbishment to meet the standard expected from a brand like IHG.
Another issue was that the property was difficult to find, especially for first-time visitors. Better signage or clearer directions would really help.
Overall, decent service and a convenient location, but the facilities need attention. Hopefully, improvements will be made in the near future.
