Our stay at The M was good enough, especially for the price. The best part was the location, which was a couple of blocks from the center of town and an easy walk to any restaurants or shops. They also have a really nice filtered water dispenser available to all the guests. Made filling our water bottles really easy.
Our first night we didn't have neighbors in the room next to us, so it was pretty quiet. However we got neighbors the 2nd night and they were loud. There was no buffering the sound of them clomping around the room and talking until almost 3 AM. There is no staff on the premises after 6:00 PM either.
Additionally, the beds felt old and cheap, they squeaked when we turned over and if you leaned too hard on them, they shifted. There weren't any good options in our room to put our stuff. Lack of surfaces for things like toilettries and charging our devices. Definite lack of outlets for plugging things in.
Would I stay at The M again? It wouldn't be my first choice. It's an affordable option, but definitely needs some upgrades to the rooms to make them more comfortable.
