The check-in process was simple and quick. We received sufficient information upon arrival, which left a good first impression.
The Room:
The room was clean, but there was a slightly strange smell that wasn’t very pleasant. The size of the room was good and well-suited for four people, which was a definite plus.
In terms of comfort, the beds were hard. I slept well, but my wife found them uncomfortable, which detracted from the overall experience.
The room felt old and clearly in need of renovation. The bathroom was small, and the lack of heated floors made it very cold—far from ideal for a comfortable stay. However, it was a nice touch that soap, shampoo, and towels were provided, which added some convenience.
Noise was a significant issue. The room was very poorly soundproofed, and we could hear noises from the hallway, the bathroom just outside, and even other rooms. This made it difficult to relax and further detracted from the overall comfort.
One positive aspect was the heater in the room, which allowed us to warm up the space a bit.
Value for Money:
This was a reasonably priced stay, which makes it easier to overlook some of the flaws. The inclusion of soap, shampoo, and towels was appreciated, but the noise level and lack of comfort are hard to ignore.
