Absolutely Disgusting – Stay Away!

I don’t normally write reviews, but I felt obligated to warn others. This hotel was filthy. The room reeked of mildew and rot the moment we walked in — like a long-abandoned building with no fresh air in decades. Windows were sealed shut, offering no ventilation, and there was visible black mold creeping along the ceiling and in the bathroom. It felt unsafe, unsanitary, and honestly scary. We couldn’t relax for a second, let alone sleep. I don’t know how this place passes health inspections — it absolutely shouldn’t. Spend your money anywhere else.

Ok place, NEEDS AC!

Extremely small, bathroom is very little. It couldn’t use some deep cleaning of the walls and base boards. Shower door was missing the handle I was stuck in the shower for a bit. Upon my arrival at check in in I was told my room was not ready, waited for about 10 minutes. Which I didn’t really mind. What I did mind was once the room was ready and carried my luggage up, cleaning services had all the dirty laundry bags blocking the hallways I had to jump over and avoid about 4 big bags. My one complaint is, No AC, it was extreme hot, around 87 degrees hot with y a small fan. It was terrible. Location wise was great 10 mins walking distance from Victoria station, 20 mins from Buckingham palace. Lots of places to eat walking distance .

The GoodGreat location, within walking distance of the tube, buses, Chelsea flower show, eateries etc. not a fancy place by all means, just convenient and cheap. Also, we needed new towels and they were promptly given to us. The Bad: small room. Booklet in the room states breakfast served at 8, but there’s no breakfast at all. Chairs in the room were stained, would better be replaced. Shower door didn’t close all the way because it needs to be reajusted to railings. Again, a cheap and conveniently located hotel. If all you need is a place to shower and crash, great deal.

L’hôtel est certes bien placé, mais cela ne compense en rien l’état déplorable de l’hygiène et le manque de considération pour les clients. Nous avons eu affaire à plusieurs réceptionnistes, dont un qui a constaté lui-même que la chambre était poussiéreuse, que le protège-matelas était sale, et que le sol était dans un état inacceptable. Il nous a même dit que les taches visibles sur le protège-matelas “ne posaient pas de problème” car un drap était posé par-dessus… Ce genre de justification est tout simplement inquiétant et irrespectueux. La chambre avait clairement été préparée à la va-vite : la douche était remplie de calcaire, et de la saleté partout, surtout dès qu’on déplaçait un meuble. Le pire reste la découverte d’une punaise de lit vivante dans notre lit. Par précaution, j’ai été contrainte de jeter mes vêtements de nuit pour éviter tout risque d’en ramener avec moi. Malgré tous ces éléments, l’hôtel a refusé de nous rembourser. Nous avons donc dû payer un nouvel hôtel à nos frais pour fuir cet environnement insalubre. On nous a promis qu’une action serait entreprise, mais aucun suivi, aucune mesure, aucun geste. Le sentiment est clair : l’hôtel s’en fiche totalement. Heureusement, nous avons pu compter sur la bienveillance et le soutien d’Expedia, que nous remercions sincèrement. À éviter absolument.

Average Room, GDPR nightmare

Room was average, bit worn and while clean was a bit dusty and stained in places. My biggest gripe was with check-in where I asked to provide a significant amount of PII (personal information) like postcode, DOB, Licence/Passport number and when I challenged as to why it was needed, how it was stored and disposed of (GDPR basics) I was told its part of registration and if i didn't provide it i couldn't stay. Sufficed to stay i'll be raising this matter with the ICO as it's a flagrant breach.
