Escalating TWO issues to your attention

1.Cash Payment request upon check in
The hotel manager insisted that I pay cash up-front to check in. Surprised, I explained to the manager that there was no such notice on The Hotels.com the webpage. However the manager continued to insist on cash payment, all the while admitting there is no such notice on The Hotels.com webpage, as if his simple “that is why I am telling you now” was to justify his objective. This resulted in a consuming debate over how the payment was to be made. The payment was finally settled via Credit Card, but so much time and emotion was put to waste. It was an unpleasant experience.
2.Double charge
Two weeks after returning from my Roma trip it was brought to my attention that my credit card was charged exact amounts for different hotels(But address was same as Hotel Atlantestar's). You can imagine how surprised and startled I was. Once again spending so much time, I notified The Hotels.com webpage manager to correct the problem. Had I not checked the billing records, I would have incurred unjust losses.
