A great place for a small family!
My family had a nice time at Snowshoe. Staff was very friendly and attentive to help if the need came. We stayed in Room #2 which is a living room, kitchenette and bedroom. Served us perfect for my wife and I and two kids. Only 2 gripes that I would have is I wish they had extra a comforter/ blanket for the sofa pull out as when it did get cold as a thin sheet didn’t cut it for me to warm up with. Also the main bedroom had A/C but the living room did not and it did get stuffy. Opened the window which wasn’t a problem in the fall season but in the summer I can imagine it being probably hot in there.

We made last minute reservations to come to Placid to hike during peak foliage. The Snowshoe Lodge was a great place to stay. Clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location to walk to the village stores, restaurants, and around Mirror Lake.

Adorable attached 2 room cabin with little kitchen. Just enough parking when all cabins occupied. Several excellent restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Just be aware that the beds are very high and you have to climb in if you are short. Good water pressure and hot water. Very responsive hosts. Contactless check in and out.
