This was the worst hotel stay my family and I have ever experienced. We chose it based on reviews and its downtown DC location, but it was a complete disappointment. The hotel claimed the pool closed at 10 PM, yet it shut down at 8. Photos showed modern walk-in showers, but our room had an old, outdated tub. The entire room felt worn, dirty, dated, and absolutely not worth $239 a night. Breakfast was terrible and certainly not worth $25. This property should be rated 1 star, not what it advertises. It did not meet our standards or expectations. I am requesting a full refundโnot hotel points.

A fun trip
The hotel was nice but a little beat up. It was not an issue but there were scuffs in room, coffee pot was finicky, and water pressure was low.

Central location
Very convenient to Amtrak and metro. Enjoyed exploring the neighborhood, but the front of the hotel is a little sketchy. Breakfast is terrible.

Great location in MoMa
I liked my bedroom at this hotel as it was spacious & comfortable and the location was great but the public areas: lobby, pool, restaurant, bar etc. were shabby & depressing and I couldn't wait to get out of the building each day.. The lifts were also a bit dodgy and the phone & safe in my room didn't work.. The saving grace, however, was one of the Front Desk Managers - Herman who was charming & helpful and answered my many questions cheerfully..

The hotel is older than it looks in photos.
We did not eat at the hotel or use pool/gym.
No outlets for electronics. Only took one charger block? Most hotels have lamps /clocks with charging stations.
Air Conditioning was on a governour. It could not be set below 65 and did not work as well as I would have preferred.
Hotel staff was acomodating when we voiced above concerns they brought us a fan and another charging outlet.
Replinished coffee and tea daily but had to pay for bottled water.
Several restaurants and stores in close proximity. Metro station 5 min walk away.
It was a clean & budget friendly hotel.
Neighborhood (NOMA) is in a gentrification process but we felt very safe. I thought the area was lovely and having the metro so close by made travel quick and easy. We valet the car and walked, took public transport & ubers.
I would definitley consider staying there again as it served our purpose of a clean place to sleep and shower as we explored the capitol.
