Hotel is super cute but a little outdated, mainly the bathrooms and lamp shades in the hotel room (a small detail I know but still affects the vibe. It's such a simple fix why not update the late 80's lampshades? Lol).
Hotel is old which is part of the charm, but walls were paper thin, I could hear the woman in the room next to us coughing all night. Felt like she was in our room. Lastly, they don't let you store your bags after checkout. I've stayed in dozens of Catalina hotels and this is the only place that does this.
All of these things aside, the room was clean, cute and had absolutely amazing views if you have a room with a balcony, which makes up for the cons.
Location is good, but slightly up hill, so definitely a bit of a hike to get to with all your bags if you're walking, but still in town (about a 3 min walk from the boardwalk).
Would stay again for the views.
