Our room had ants running around in the kitchen area. We reported to the front desk and requested to change room. They said they didn’t have a similar studio room and could only give us a smaller room without a sofa bed. We took it. The next morning, we kindly reminded the woman in the front desk that the room had ants problem and needed to be fixed. She started to accuse us for yelling at her and basically yelled at us for more than 10 minutes. And when we tried to get our luggage which were stored at the front desk, she started to lecture us how she find snack crumbs in the bed and we should not eat snacks in the bed. She was trying to hint that we caused the ant problem. It’s rude and unprofessional. We found the ants the next day right after we moved in, and the ants were coming from an interior corner around the kitchen. We did not cook anything in the kitchen. There were a lot of ants. It’s not around the bed. And the ants problem was not caused with in a day or two. Besides, we did not eat any snacks on bed. If she found crumbs, she needs to have the cleaning maids do a better job, because it must have left by the previous guest. As a matter of fact, we didn’t see any snack crumbs on bed ourselves. No apologies for giving us an ant infested room, no apologies for exchanging us to a smaller cheaper room. All the time she’s trying to deny that her hotel room has ants problems (We have videos and photos to show). Anyway, the worst hotel experience we’ve ever had.
