The staff were excellent and that was why I rated the stay as good. Without good staff, the property was rather ordinary, at best, with a so-so breakfast. Location was very good for us, lots of very good restaurants around and felt safe.

Phone had nothing on it. No plug for the bath tub. Can’t really use it without a plug, people! Rug was dirty and had not been vacuumed prior to our stay. Desk personnel less than friendly, unlike our other stays in Lyon, Annecy and Geneva on this trip.

This is a gem of a hotel! First off, it’s located at walking distance from 3 metro stations. The rooms are spacious and with a kitchenette fully equipped- there are many supermarkets around should you want to save some money on meals. If cooking is not for you, there’s plenty restaurants around. The staff at the hotel is courteous and super helpful, there’s a buffet breakfast available- the only drawback is that the menu is the same every day. We loved our stay at Le Patio Bastille, I highly recommend it!
