It took 30 minutes to check in, and when I finally visited the room they gave me it wasnโt cleaned. No sheets on the bed, kitchen was dirty, bathrooms were dirty, and we werenโt the only visitors with the problem. Turns out the cleaning person walked out mid shift. There was a classic car show in town and every other hotel was sold out. So my wife decided weโd clean our own room, since we just drove 600 miles from Chicago and weโre too tired to drive to the next city. My wife and daughter cleaned the bathrooms and made the beds, my son and I cleaned the floors and kitchen. That evening I spoke to the manager and asked what he was going to do about it, in the form of a refund. I checked my credit card and he only refunded me $25! Thatโs it! I drove 600 miles so we could clean our own rooms! Iโll never stay at an off brand hotel again, ever. I wasnโt expecting opulence but I expected clean rooms and better service. Do not stay here!
