OK, let's be straight. The place is borderline shabby. No digital parking authorization, you have to park, walk down a ratty stairway with structurally rusted handrails, walk the length of the building to get to the front entry. Check in, get parking pass, reverse the trek to put it on your car. Then you get to make the trek once again to reenter. Lobby is not very welcoming, just one armchair. The third floor hallway seems to have been painted by someone with only a roller leaving an irregular band at the bottom unpainted. The plaster is broken in one area.
The walk in shower has moldy grout. There is a strange wire rack holding rolled up towels. Rack is broken and bent. The heater unit is noisy, possibly because the grille is broken/missing. No in-room coffee or tea service. No minibar. The carpets looked like they might once have been clean.
The night clerk told us that breakfast is next door. Next door is a laundry. Go figure.
