Disappointed
Unfortunately I was in Paris during the heatwave, doing a study abroad. I have a medical condition that is affected by heat so I booked this room last minute for two days because it had AC and WiFi. Arrived and found rooms AC was not efficient at cooling room around 85 in room, also WiFi was spotty and had Nats in the bathroom shower and sink drain.I went to front counter to ask to be moved ( was on first floor ) also told them about the Nat problem in bathroom. Was told sorry no other rooms available and then he came in with bug spray. I went to front counter explained this was not acceptable and would be checking out ( was within 30 min of checking in) called hotels.com explained situation and requested a refund. Booked a Marriott 20 min away. Was then contacted by hotels.com that they would not refund my charge. Filed a claim with insurance. Definitely disappointed after reading the reviews and the fact they did not refund my charges.
