perfect place

I stayed at Podtel in Waikiki for the first time, and I was really happy with it! Great location, super friendly service. Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. All the main spots the beach, restaurants, and shops were within walking distance. The pods were cool and well-ventilated, making it a perfect place to relax after a day out. Would definitely stay again!

I slept better here than at other hotels and hoste

I was a bit apprehensive at first since check-in and communication were all online and felt a little impersonal. But once I arrived, the staff was super helpful and made everything easy. Security was great, and I felt very safe throughout my stay. The pod mattress was incredibly comfortable—honestly, I slept better here than at other hotels and hostels. Such a unique and peaceful stay in Waikiki. Would definitely come back!

The best capsule hotel hostel in Waikiki

Visited as a solo female traveler, staying in a women-only sleeping pod at Podtel. The experience was excellent, in an amazing location in the heart of Waikiki, less than a 5-minute walk from the beach, shopping, and great food spots. Pods, communal areas, amenities, and services were all excellent—very clean and well managed. Check-in and check-out were done online, so there was very little need to interact with the staff, although there was always someone at the front desk if I needed anything. I felt very safe my whole stay there. Everyone staying at Podtel was quiet, respectful, and friendly—mostly kept to themselves. Not a place for meeting people/socializing, but perfect for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay. Would definitely recommend!

If you're looking for an affordable, clean, and seamless sleeping experience in Waikiki, Podtel is the way to go. I stayed with my friend for three nights during their soft opening, and everything was already running smoothly. We received a code to access our sleeping area, which had plenty of space and individual sleep pods that fully enclose for rest. One of the best things about these pods is the privacy—my friend could come in late, and I could wake up early without disturbing each other. The pods also have outlets, fans, and soft lighting—basically, it’s super comfy. The staff was friendly, and the other guests seemed chill. A special shoutout to Tanya for being super helpful and accommodating, especially when we needed to store our luggage after checkout while we explored the area. The location is unbeatable—just a short walk to the beach, great coffee spots, nightlife, and shopping. For a brand-new spot, Podtel is already doing an amazing job. Can’t wait to see how it evolves!

Literally the best place to crash in Waikiki if ur on a budget but don’t wanna stay in some sketchy hostel. The pods are actually super comfy, way more private than bunk beds, and the AC is a lifesaver after being out in the sun all day. I was lowkey worried it would feel claustrophobic, but it didn’t at all—felt kinda cozy actually. Bathrooms were clean, which is a BIG deal for me, and the whole vibe was just chill. Met some cool ppl in the common areas but also had my own space when I wanted. Def recommend if ur traveling solo or w/ friends and just need a solid, affordable place to sleep!!
